Recent Updates & Improvements

These updates focus on improving Drivewyze reliability, subscription and login handling, vehicle and driver event accuracy, duty status consistency, log certification, and cycle management to provide a more reliable experience for drivers, dispatchers, and fleet managers.

✅ Improvements

Improved Drivewyze UI and Polling

Enhancements and investigation work were completed around the Drivewyze user interface and polling functionality. These improvements help provide more reliable status updates and a smoother experience when interacting with Drivewyze.

Improved Subscription Validation During Login

Added a prompt to prevent users from logging in when their subscription is marked as closed. This provides clearer feedback and helps prevent users from accessing the application with an inactive subscription.

Ability to Queue Cycle Changes

Added functionality to allow changes to be queued within a driver cycle. This improves flexibility when managing cycle-related updates and helps ensure changes are processed in the appropriate sequence.

🐞 Bug Fixes

Crashlytics Stability Improvements

Resolved issues identified through Crashlytics to improve application stability and reduce unexpected errors.

Fixed Duplicate Vehicle Issue

Resolved an issue that could result in duplicate vehicle records. Vehicle information is now handled more consistently to prevent duplicate entries.

Investigated Excessive Driver Events

Investigated an issue involving driver's where a large number of events were created on June 2. This investigation helps identify potential causes of unexpected event generation and improve event processing reliability.

Fixed VL Jumping Back and Forth

Implemented a follow-up fix for an issue where VL values could repeatedly jump back and forth. VL information should now remain more stable and consistent.

Fixed Incorrect Driving Status at Night

Resolved an issue where a driver could unexpectedly transition to Driving during nighttime hours while actually being Off Duty. Duty status handling is now more consistent with the driver's actual status.

Corrected Incorrect Uncertified Log Status

Resolved an issue affecting companies where logs were incorrectly displayed as uncertified despite the account being created on May 8. Log certification information now more accurately reflects the driver's and account's actual status.

Race Condition HTL Investigation

Research was conducted into a potential race condition affecting HTL functionality. The investigation focused on understanding the underlying behaviour and identifying potential causes of inconsistent processing.
