Installation of Switchboard Vision Hardware

To install the Switchboard Vision Hardware, you only need to connect three wires.

 (POWER+): Connect it to the power source of your fusebox/vehicle

(GROUND): Connect it to the ground wire of your vehicle

 (ACC_IN): connect it to the ignition signal output slot of the fuse box

Please ensure that the ignition wire (white) is connected; if it is not connected, then video will not be recorded

After that you should be able to see the status lights show on the camera.

To ensure that you can see Switchboard Vision recordings and events in your Switchboard Vision Cloud Platform, you need to associate the IMEI of your device with your vehicle.

Once the dispatcher/ safety manager clicks on the VISION page then the below screen shows up. let us dive in to the different options and functions that the VISION page has.

This is a search box to search the unit IDs with the Dash cams. Units that are not installed with the dash cameras will show the NO DASHCAM tag associated with the unit number.

To enable Switchboard Vision events to be sent back, you have to associate the Dashcam ID with the equipment. To do so, add/edit your vehicle in the
