Switchboard allows you to share location access on your vehicles on the road. Managing access is easy, with time expiries and vehicle specific sharing.

On the left hand side of the page select your vehicle.

With this location share link, you can choose how many days your driers location will expire in.

Afterwards, copy and share the link with your customer.

Share the location of your vehicles with customers

Switchboard allows you generate reports of when your equipment entered or exited certain locations.

Before you access the Enter/Exit events for geofences, you must create a geofence first. To learn how to create a geofence, please go here: 

To view the vehicle's entry and exit time from the geofence, let us take one geofence to see how the entry and exit points are shown on the Switchboard platform.

Click on the existing Geofence for the list

Now click on the Enter/Exit Time to view the report of when and at which trucks were crossing this geofence and at what times.

The summary page shows up once you click on the Enter/Exit Times option from the selected geofence. On this page, you can be able to view the list of entry/exit times of the units.

View Geofence Enter/Exit Events

 which allow you to set locations which you can get alerts and reports on when your drivers enter and exit those location

To create a geofence, log in to Switchboard on 

. Select the "Map" section, and you'll see your map. On the left sidebar, select "Geofences".

 button at the bottom of the screen, then manually click on the map area where you wanted to add the Geofence.

Once you click on the map as shown in the previous image, a box will shows up on the map where you wanted to create a geofence.

You can adjust the Geofence width & height as required.

You can also have a geofence specific speed limit for vehicles to follow in this region. 

And that's it! You have created your geofence. Now anytime your vehicles enter/exit this geofence, you will receive a notification that your vehicle has done so.

Creating Geofences

Switchboard allows you to set up third-party integrations with tracking providers, such as Project44, Macropoint, FourKites, and more.

To turn on tracking with a specific provider, please email us at

Assigning Tracking ID & PO#s for Tracking

For tracking to work properly, you will need to associated tracking IDs and PO#s for your vehicles and drivers on the road.
